Gear Cutter

  • Setup machine as appropriate to machine specifications
  • Setup and operate manual machines
  • Will work from written procedures, blueprints, sketches, and/or verbal instructions
  • Change tool to maintain dimensions per production drawings
  • Machinery and cutters
    • Working with Gear tooth Inspection Equipment
    • Arranging the correct gearing, angles, feeds and speeds on the machines to produce the correct gears
    • Cleaning, deburring and quality inspections
  • Maintain proper condition of measuring instruments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and specifications
  • Previous experience in Gear Cutting
  • Understanding engineering drawings and instructions
  • Able to visualise finished products
  • Good levels of concentration are a must
  • Able to work alone or as part of a team
  • Ability to appreciate customers’ requirements and short lead times
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
  • Ability to lead and train staff

Quality Inspector


The Quality Inspector is responsible for incoming inspection and in-process and final product to release shipments to customers. The list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary. Overall, this position will assist in supporting the quality management system in meeting and maintaining regulatory requirements.
  • Inspecting incoming materials according to sampling plans and assigning accept/reject status based on acceptance criteria defined in material specifications
  • Inspecting and releasing in-process and finished goods
  • Notify, document and communicate with the customers regarding non-conforming materials and requesting deviations when necessary
  • Labeling, evaluating, and processing returned material authorizations (RMAs)
  • Organizing the RMA area for engineering and preparing RMAs for engineering evaluation
  • Labeling, investigating, and assigning a disposition to nonconforming materials and organizing the nonconforming materials area
  • Performing RMA evaluations for recovery and/or rework
  • Monthly reporting of costs, disposition and on time performance
  • Filing of paperwork resulting from duties completed
  • Familiar with manufacturing process and machinery (forming, grinding of metal parts)
  • Supports Continuous Improvement activities as assigned, including data collection, and the measuring of parts
  • Performs internal systems audits and prepares report
  • Ability to read and Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures,PPAPs
  • Read product prints, working knowledge of dimensioning and tolerance
  • Performs final audit inspections on finished goods, at set frequencies according to the part number specific Control plan
  • Demonstrates competency in operating metrology lab measuring equipment and able to interpret Performs incoming material inspection
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and instructions
  • Good organization skills with strong attention to detail
  • Good hand/eye coordination, ability to work with small parts and measuring devices
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
  • Must be able to work as a team member
  • Proficient MS office software skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal history check
  • 1-3 years of experience performing inspection activities
  • Experience in quality management systems is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Quality Engineer/Manager

  • Direct Supervisor (CQO)
  • Perform all tasks assigned by Direct Supervisor
  • Order review performance
  • Manage all NMRs onsite
  • Ensure your meetings, internal or external, are on the company calendar & all team members with email are included in the meeting invite
  • Perform your role in “Daily Huddle Requirement Discussion Topics”
  • Perform your role in “Ultimate Buying Experience” for the customers
  • Maintenance of all quality records, has identified mail exchange to be a retrievable electronic document. All-important communication, i.e.: emails, handwritten communication, etc., will be printed and filed appropriately
  • Inspection and approval of designs and QC personnel
  • Initiates required testing and training of employees per (CQO)
  • Management of inventory control for raw material and finished goods
  • Adheres to all quality procedures and production standards
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information related to the company and personnel
  • Perform internal audits onsite per (CQO)
  • Ensure QMS system is being followed onsite by all team members
  • Ensure quality objective goals are being met onsite by all team members
  • Lead semi-annual meetings onsite
  • Supervise inspectors onsite
  • Ensure customer quality documentation is with each shipment as required
  • Submit appropriate reports as needed to (CQO)
  • Seek opportunities for improvement throughout organization
  • Complies with safety standards. Adheres to all OSHA compliance laws
